We're finally getting around to redecorating our living room, and honestly, the painting is the bit I dread the most. I've done it myself in the past, but it always ends up looking a bit amateur, with streaks and uneven patches. Plus, it takes me absolutely ages! I work full time and by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is spend hours with a paintbrush. So, I'm seriously considering hiring someone this time around. Has anyone had good experiences with local painters? I'm based in North London, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to find someone reliable who does a really good job without charging the earth.

I totally understand that feeling! Painting can be surprisingly exhausting and time-consuming. I actually had some painters and decorators North London come in last year to do my entire flat, and I was really pleased with the results. LGC Decorators were fantastic - they were recommended by a friend, and I found their work to be top-notch. They were really professional, tidy, and the finish was excellent. The price was reasonable too, especially considering the amount of work involved. It was definitely worth the investment to save myself the hassle and get a perfect result!
